A paint you can eat

The paint industry may not like this but we use pure linseed oil to treat the wood for the new barn roof. It is much cheaper than paint or varnish, more durable, contains no solvents, the production is sustainable and it is not toxic. On the contrary, it is a health food ingredient. Bas will start with the roof construction next week, when the linseed oil and also the concrete ring anchor on top of the Taipa walls are dry and solid.

Paint shops will sell it. In the town of Saboia (pop. 1250) I can buy it at the drogeria and at the local construction materials supplier, for 3,40 per liter. Leroy Merlin has it also but charges 4,75.
